In light of letters that all Glendon YUFA members recently received regarding "voluntary" transfers to new units organized in four new Departments, YUFA is organizing a town hall on January 11, 2024, at 11:30am. This Town Hall is designed to be a space where YUFA members in Glendon can discuss these changes and requests from the Principal's Office and to ask questions to YUFA Executive Officers and staff about their entitlements, options and rights under the collective agreement provisions in Article 18 on various kinds of faculty transfers.  What does it mean to sign the Principal's letter giving permission to be "voluntarily" transferred? What does this mean for tenure and promotion processes?  For research release criteria for professorial faculty?  For workload?
