YUFA members teaching courses and using eClass will have noticed that the Employer has inserted banners in eClass course pages such as this one:
This intervention by the Employer in eClass – of which YUFA members were not alerted – calls into question the use of eClass as a teaching tool. It is YUFA’s understanding that eClass is a pedagogical tool for which members decide what is to be posted.
YUFA categorically rejects the Employer’s actions and will be taking appropriate action. In the meantime, YUFA calls on the Employer to immediately remove the banners from eClass.
