YUFA’s Bargaining Team met with the mediator today and sent a revised settlement offer to the Employer at about 2:00 pm this afternoon. YUFA’s team has the afternoon of Tuesday August 20 set aside for bargaining or a caucus meeting. We will keep members posted.

In an 11-hour bargaining session on Saturday, August 17, the YUFA Bargaining Team reached agreement with the Employer on a few small items. By the end of the day, YUFA sent the Employer a comprehensive Final Offer for Settlement.

YUFA’s Bargaining Team continued to negotiate with the Employer on August 12 towards a renewal Collective Agreement, settling a few issues. Most of the major matters remain to be discussed. Further bargaining sessions are scheduled for the weekend (August 17-18).
