YUFA continues to defend several of the 18 colleagues who were awarded Special Renewable Contracts (SRCs) as part of an arbitration settlement in 2018. Some contracts were not renewed where they should have been; this is unacceptable. YUFA is taking all measures available to remediate the situation. The non-renewal of six colleagues’ contracts has been referred to mediation / arbitration and we are fighting those members’ termination, as we will fight any SRC non-renewals in the future.
