YUFA has issued a letter to Interim President Lisa Philipps, Interim Provost Laina Bay-Cheng, VP Finance and Administration Nirin Kishinchandani, and Board of Governors Chair Antonio Di Domenico to outline our concerns with both the format and substance of the June​ 23 Budget Information Session, and to begin to raise questions about the ways that institutional resources are allocated. We thank all members for their valuable contributions to our discussions about the financial and academic implications of current financial planning at York, and look forward to further conversations about democratizing the budgetary process in ways that can help York University retain and strengthen its unique character and mission.
