York retirees host annual showcase on November 8

The York University Retirees' Association (YURA) will host the 17th Annual Showcase & Sale as follows:

Showcase & Sale
Tuesday, November 8
9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
East Bear Pit, Central Square

This year’s sale features:

Canadiana country furniture
An incredible teddy-bear blowout
Arts & crafts
Hand-made clothing and knitted items
Jewellery & decoratives
Paintings & photographs
Display of hobbies

In addition, the "Attic Treasures" table will offer a wide variety of re-giftable items. And the baked goods table will tempt you with delicious home-baked pies, pastries, cookies and cakes.

All proceeds from the "Attic Treasures" table, the baked goods table, and Michele Young’s book signing will go towards the support of the William Small Award, the Mature Student Bursary, and the Graduate Student Award.
