As we start this new year, and you look at your paycheque and wonder ... where is this 2$ levy going? Here's where is went last year.
- Helped fun a summer program to support kids from the Jane Finch community transition to high school called Success Beyond Limits
- Supported Readers to Leaders, a literacy program for grade 9 and 10 students.
- Supported the Jane Finch Action Against Poverty (JFAAP) group who mobilize on such issues as Fair Transit, the fair minimum wage, social housing issues, etc.
- Supported the creation of digital stories by LGBTQI refugees
- Funded the Jane Finch Unity BBQ, the Walk for Excellence, the mother's group at PEACH (Promoting Education and Community Health)
