Dear members: YUFA recently conducted a ratification vote to approve amending the YUFA Collective Agreement to include the negotiated language governing Special Renewable Contract (SRC) appointments. The vote took place from Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. to Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.

The ratification vote was governed by Article 9.2 ("Ratification of substantive change to or renewal of Collective Agreement") of the YUFA Constitution.

A total of 491 voters cast ballots out of 1,526 eligible voters, for a turnout of 32.2%.

The results of the vote are as follows:

Yes: 311 (63.3%) RATIFIED
No: 180 (36.7%)
Abstain: 0
