There is a vacant position for a YUFA representative on the  York Community Safety Council . The Terms of Reference are available online. The Council is looking for someone who:

• Has credibility within the university community and a clear understanding of the Council’s role
• Is skilled in navigating complex conversations with care and clarity
• Embodies transparency, accountability, and collaborative DEDI (diversity, equity, decolonization, and inclusion) principles
• Can publicly represent the Council and positively impact its credibility
• Demonstrates the ability to remain neutral and objective when engaging with diverse perspectives, particularly in sensitive or challenging discussions
