Navigating Digital Harms and Online Hate: event on September 25, 1-2:30 pm

Team members from the Ontario Digital Literacy and Access Network (ODLAN) will share insights from their recent report ‘Navigating Digital Harms: An Investigation of Transphobic Online Hate Against 2SLGBTQIA+ Organizations”. This event is hosted by the Institute for Research on Digital Literacies (IRDL), in collaboration with The Institute for Technoscience & Society (ITS) and The Center for Feminist Research (CFR), with opening remarks by ComCult PhD student Alex Borkowski.

The Open Digital Literacy and Access Network is a community-based pilot initiative founded by 2SLGBTQIA+ graduate students, community members, and allies who are concerned with the digital divide in our communities.  They are passionate about connecting organizations and individuals with resources and services that will minimize digital inequalities in 2SLGBTQIA+ communities.
