At its regular meeting on Thursday, March 27, York's Senate will consider a framework for program suspensions that has been brought forward from the Senate Academic Policy, Planning and Research Committee. Senate meetings are public, and the meeting will be live-streamed.

In a related Senate matter, that Senators have used their right under Senate rules to call for a special meeting, to be held in person in April, to discuss the interim report of the Faculties of the Future Report, specifically the proposed restructuring of academic units, which have not received Senate approval. There are concerns regarding the anecdotal and vague recommendations presented in the report and their potential implications for academic units.
