Join YUFA for the National Day of Action against Islamophobia and White Supremacy

At the February meeting of Stewards' Council, members voted unanimously to endorse the National Day of Action against Islamophobia and White Supremacy, and to organize a contingent in the Toronto demonstration. YUFA committed its support to the National Day of Action in its statement, "Unite against hate, racism and Islamophobia."

The YUFA contingent will assemble at 11:30 a.m. (30 minutes before the demonstration begins) at the southeast corner of Dundas Street West and University Avenue (TTC: St. Patrick). Look for the YUFA banner.

The YUFA contingent will join another contingent, $15 & Fairness Solidarity against Islamophobia & White Supremacy, which will be generating support during the demonstration for food service workers at York University and their demand for an end to racist and Islamophobic harassment in the workplace.

Colleagues, friends and family members are welcome to join the YUFA contingent.
