YUFA’s bargaining team met on Wednesday, December 4 for a day of bargaining with CUPE 1281, assisted by a conciliator. YUFA tabled the existing 1281 Collective Agreement for renewal, including several updates which were agreed and signed off by both parties during bargaining sessions last June, July, and August.
CUPE 1281’s application for an Unfair Labour Practice determination was withdrawn on December 4, 2025.
Additional plans for bargaining are under discussion.
