Recognized Caucuses of YUFA are representative groups within the YUFA membership. Each Caucus selects, by election or appointment, its own representative to Stewards' Council.

Recognized Caucuses
There are currently eight Recognized Caucuses:
- Disability Caucus – Glendon
- Disability Caucus – Keele
- Indigenous Caucus – Glendon
- Indigenous Caucus – Keele
- Queer Caucus – Glendon
- Queer Caucus – Keele
- Race Equity Caucus – Glendon
- Race Equity Caucus – Keele
The Equity Officers or any YUFA member may recommend to the Executive Committee the recognition or de-recognition of Caucuses. An amendment to Bylaw 9 would then be made under Article 5.1 of the Constitution.
