In recent communications we described the difficulties our Bargaining Team has encountered in trying to negotiate a 1% raise in salary and 1% raise in Progress-through-the-Ranks (PTR) as well as enhanced internal supports for teaching and research despite allowances for such increases under Bill 124, Ontario's salary and benefits cap imposed on public sector employees.
We also communicated the university's accumulation of a $386 million surplus between 2018 - 2021.
