Topics discussed included the accreditation process for the new School of Medicine, updates to the Sharp budget model (a new pilot project costing shared services is expected in 2026-27), maintenance of campus buildings, program suspensions and revisions, the many collegial consultation demands related to restructuring plans, course cancellations, the University Academic Plan, revisions to bachelor’s degree requirements and student accommodations rules, academic integrity and Artificial Intelligence, and other changes at York. President Lenton, at one of her final meetings with colleagues, stated that two new Indigenous hires are with the Provost for approval.
