As negotiated by YUFA in the negotiations for a new contract, as of May 2022, YUFA members have the option to purchase vision insurance coverage for dependents at 50% cost to the employer. This is a change from the previous coverage that required YUFA members to pay the entire cost of the coverage, rather than only 50%.
There is a monthly cost to enroll into family vision which for YUFA members is $10.93. The cost can also be found in this chart. Members who wish to enroll dependents into the family vision coverage are advised to contact the Pension and Benefits office at [email protected].
